Sellyourskill.co.uk is a place in which services in relation to the completion of jobs or the performance of tasks (services) may be bought and sold. The website provides for companies and individuals who require services (“skill seekers”) to advertise their requirements (“Jobs”), and for companies or individuals who provide skills and services (“skill providers”) to advertise those skills and services as well as submit offers to perform those services (“offers”).
Sellyourskill.co.uk provides and maintains the website as a place to introduce skill providers and skill seekers. It is expressly agreed between you and us that we are not party to any contract entered into between any skill provider and skill seeker for the provision of services to carry out Jobs or otherwise. Sellyourskill.co.uk does not offer any form of insurance or other protection for users because this website solely provides an online place for users to offer, sell, and buy skills and services and we are not otherwise involved in such transactions.
By using this website you agree to and warrant that you will follow and abide by our guidelines and requirements for all activities on this website including but not limited to advertising skills, posting Jobs and placing offers, and complying with our Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Payment
All prices are in £ sterling. Payment can be made online via PayPal.
All credit/debit card-holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If your payment card issuer refuses to authorise payment to PayPal and so Sellyourskill.co.uk, we will not be liable for any resulting delay to, interruption of, non-availability and/or termination of our products and services.
C: GENERAL TERMS
1. Termination
Without prejudice to any of our other rights or remedies, Sellyourskill.co.uk reserves the right to terminate the provision of products and/or services or part thereof by providing you with not less than fourteen days’ notice of such termination. You will in those circumstances be entitled to a refund of that part of any payment you have made for any period in respect of which we will not provide the products and/or services as a result of such termination.
We may terminate all or part of the products and/or services with immediate effect by giving written notice to you if you commit a material breach of these Terms, fail to comply with our Appropriate Use Policy, or without giving any reason and at our absolute discretion. In particular and without limiting the aforesaid, Sellyourskill.co.uk may terminate the participation of any user of this website if we opine that they are actual or potential legal liabilities, infringing intellectual property rights, engaging in fraudulent, immoral or illegal activities, or for other similar reasons.
You are entitled to terminate this agreement immediately at any time by providing written notice of termination to us in writing by email (and with confirmed receipt), post or fax stating that you wish to terminate your use of our products and/or services and setting out your customer contact name, your customer business name and your customer ID/username and email address. If you terminate this agreement, we are not obligated to make any refund to you or give credit for any payment you might have made.
